Recchiuti<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\nIn 1997, Michael Recchiuti and his wife, Jackie, brought artisan, European and American inspired chocolate confections to San Francisco. They partnered with revered French Chocolate Maker, Valrhona, to create unique artisan chocolate confections made with non-traditional savory ingredients. They also created a selection of all American favorites, inspired by his childhood in Philadelphia, such as do-it-yourself s’mores. The design of the chocolates themselves, as well as the packaging is alluring and inspired by fine art, music and architecture. Jackie works very closely with graphic designers to create product that is not only delicious to the taste but beautiful as well. Michael wrote a James Beard Award winning book in 2005 with Fran Gage entitled, \u201cChocolate Obsession\u201d. The chocolate factory is located in San Francisco\u2019s Dogpatch Neighborhood but the company\u2019s retail location is inside San Francisco\u2019s Historic Ferry Building.
