Nick Lowe at The Castro Theater

If you haven’t been to the Castro Theater in a while, it is a venue that you should definitely add to your list. They were shut down for a while, but re-opened recently and it is awesome. They have had some great shows there and it is a perfect spot to check out live music, comedy, shows and more.
Born in 1949, Lowe is a pivotal figure in pub rock, power pop, and new wave. He is known for hits like “Cruel to Be Kind” and his production work with artists such as Elvis Costello and The Pretenders. In his later career, he has a updated singer/songwriter style, delivering well-reviewed albums like The Impossible Bird and The Old Magic with veteran musicianship.
